or this
or this (yes, holding hands and actually being EXCITED before swim practice!!)

I would have said you were crazy. But fortunately, I'm the proud mother of two fish and I couldn't be more excited! Todd still has about two weeks left of lessons. He's doing a great job swimming and is still working on mastering the transition to a float so he can take some breaths and rest before turning back over to swim. I fully anticipate that by the end of next week he will be swim/float/swimming and completely independent in the pool.

AWESOME!
That is fantastic! So what was the trick wtih Haley getting her face wet? Do I just have to wait until Sydney decides on her own???
Ali, it was pretty much Hayley's ISR teacher. They are required to put their face in... it's a survival class. She did it within 5 minutes of her first refresher lesson and that was it... I think it was having someone besides "mom" tell her she HAD to do it! And, we're in the pool everyday, so it is constantly being reinforced. The swimming didn't really click for Hayley until this year (4 years old). It's coming MUCH easier for Todd, but he isn't such the strong-willed child his sister is. I think it's a girl thing! ;-)
