Yes, that's the beginnings of a double chin that you see! Seems our little girl is starting to chub up already! We have already noticed the rolls beginning to form on her upper thighs and the rolls around her neck are making it increasingly harder to keep her neck clean! I've told Hayley to enjoy this time while it lasts. After all, this is the only time in a girl's life that rolls on her thighs are considered "cute!"
Hayley is already starting to have so much more alert time. It scares us a little as we wonder if this is a sign of what her energy level is going to be like!? It's amazing how 7 pounds can wear 2 grown adults into complete exhaustion! But really, she is doing so much better at night and is getting the hang of just waking up to eat and going right back to sleep. We may have hit that first growth spurt early because her eating has tapered off a bit (thank goodness 'cause Mommy needs a break).
We are now getting ready for a trip from Mimmi, Grandpa and Great Grams (aka The Nettletons). They'll be arriving on Wednesday and we are all excited for them to meet Hayley!

Yeah, Shelley! I get to see her all the time! She's so precious! I love that you're blogging now; I've bookmarked your blog so I can check in. Hang in there through those tough few "zombie months", as I like to call the newborn phase. It's all about surviving at this point, but it will get easier!
